If you have an obsession with fine wine, all in a relaxed atmosphere, food and art, refreshing ales, then look no further than otway estate. Our beers are produced using pure otway rainwater - so not only are they good beers, they are sensational beers. Any beer connoisseur knows you need good water to make good beer. As the coolest climate winery on the mainland, the conditions are ideally suited to the production of premium sparkling wines. Otway estate wine is produced by using only estate-grown grapes and traditional methods. While the caf�, lounge or deck provides a place to relax and enjoy a tasting plate teamed with your favourite beverage. The cellar door has a retail food outlet enabling the visitor to sample regional and home made produce. In 2006 the latest development emerged, function facility, gallery, brewery, otway estate now boasts a winery, caf� / lounge and expanded cellar door. Luxurious spa baths and complete privacy, the cottages really do offer a unique getaway and enable guests to experience the peace and tranquillity of the bush. In late 2000, luxury adult accommodation was built amongst the bush with views over the vines. A change of ownership in 1996 saw the planting of more vines expanding the varieties to include pinot noir, riesling, semillon, chardonnay, cabernet and sauvignon blanc. Established in 1983, otway estate produced table and berry wines under the barongavale label. Each beverage is teamed with it's own tasting platter full of scrumptious local delicacies prepared on site. Situated in the beautiful otway hinterland, otway estate produces a liquid to quench any thirst, from our fine wines and premium beers to our seasonal cordial selections. Our first beer was released march 2007.

Our function center is flawless for your event, regardless of the size from the little and intimate to the large or corporate we can cater for weddings, birthdays, conferences and more. With on site spa accommodation, the Estate offers 3 self contained cottages nestled in the surrounding bush land and looking out to a view of the vines, offering you the accurate retreat from your busy day to day life. Add something a small exceptional to your stay with us with one of our fresh exceptional packages. Home to Prickly Moses Handcrafted Beer and Forbidden Fruit Ciders, as healthy as the Estates own range of wines, you are sure to find a favorite beverage during your visit. We even have an on site dog trainer who runs dog training courses for you and your dog at the Estate.
